It's a god-awful small affair

It's my mom's hometown! Okay, so this isn't MY video from last year since my camera didn't record them properly and its proven impossible to pull them from the DVDs, but this was filmed a few months after we were there by some random person on YouTube. Sommerhausen is where my uncle Thomas is from (I think my aunt was living in Winterhausen at the time and they met and now live in Ochsenfurt). When we were there, the roads leading to the Rathaus were completely torn up. In the video, they look like they're already being paved over again.

Seriously, if you ever want to go to Germany, avoid going to Berlin your first time and visit one of the tinier towns like Ochsenfurt. If you like old towns that look like they've barely changed in five hundred years, you will ADORE Ochsenfurt. Trust me.

When we go back in the next year or so, I'll record everything I can with my new camera because this is RIDIC that I can't pull these videos. They were pretty amazing, too. Eh.

I was just watching Heist, went to check my celebrity gossip and what do I see? "Actor Marshall Hurt in Accident".

My biggest regret? That I never starred in a musical in high school.

I have been terrible at LiveJournal. D for effort. It's been such an odd month. Here's hoping February doesn't drive me completely mad.

I have, however, been reading my friends list. So I am not behind in the sagas of your lives, honest. Which is how this came about. Though I don't remember who I saw this with. Hm.
